William J. Cody, CPM®
Mr. Cody has more than thirty years of real estate experience including property management, asset management, acquisition, due diligence and portfolio valuation.
Mr. Cody received the Certified Property Manager (CPM®) designation awarded by the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and has been a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management, and has served on various committees for the organization.
For nearly 10 years Mr. Cody was actively involved in property and asset management, including nearly 1 million square feet of downtown high rise office buildings, along with retail, suburban office, residential, and condominium properties. He has also, on a “hands on” basis, managed and turned around distressed assets.
He has been involved in various property types including office, retail and residential from both an ownership and management perspective.
Mr. Cody formed William J. Cody Realty Advisors (WJCRA) in 1990. Previous to that, he was a vice president for Due Diligence at VMS Realty Partners and a property manager for Cushman & Wakefield.
Mr. Cody is currently Executive Director of the Chicago Real Estate Council (CREC), having served in an oversight capacity of the 200+ member organization for the past ten years.
Seth Jussim
Mr. Jussim has over thirty years of real estate experience including consulting, lending, loan workouts, underwriting, market research, asset management and appraisal.
He has worked on a variety of property types including office, retail, multi-family, senior housing, hotel and mixed-use developments. With a technical background in computers, this has helped facilitate his strong analytical approach to commercial real estate.
Mr. Jussim has been with WJCRA for twenty years. Previous to that, he was an assistant vice president at Citicorp Real Estate.
During Mr. Jussim’s tenure at Citicorp Real Estate he was actively involved in the monitoring, asset management, work out strategies, financial and legal analysis, and ultimate disposition of over several billions dollars of office and retail properties throughout the United States.
